Real Estate Hub ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website at YOUR-DOMAIN.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We've written it in plain English — no legal jargon.
The Short Version
All calculations on Real Estate Hub run entirely inside your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the numbers you enter into our calculators. Your deal analysis stays on your device.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information, and only in the following ways:
- Usage data via Google Analytics (GA4): We use GA4 to understand how visitors use the site — which calculators are most popular, how long people stay, and what devices they use. This data is aggregated and anonymised. It does not include any numbers you enter into our calculators.
- Ad serving via Google AdSense: We display ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings.
- Cookies: We use a single local storage key (
reh-theme) to remember your dark mode preference. This never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Calculator Inputs
Every calculation on this site — rental yield, cap rate, cash flow, fix and flip, BRRRR, DSCR, and all others — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. None of the values you enter are ever sent to our servers, stored in a database, or shared with any third party. We have no record of any deal you analyse on this site.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links to third-party services (such as BiggerPockets Pro, Roofstock, DealMachine, and Fundrise). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Clicking these links may set cookies managed by those third parties. We only recommend services relevant to real estate investing.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google Analytics (GA4) — privacy policy
- Google AdSense — privacy policy
- Tailwind CSS CDN — loaded from a CDN; no personal data collected
- Google Fonts — font files loaded from Google's servers; subject to Google's privacy policy
Data Retention
Because we do not store any calculator inputs or personal data on our servers, there is nothing to retain or delete. Google Analytics data is retained for 26 months by default, in accordance with Google's standard data retention settings.
Children's Privacy
Real Estate Hub is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, please contact us at hello@YOUR-DOMAIN.com and we will take appropriate action.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data under laws such as the GDPR (European Union) or CCPA (California). Since we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, most of these rights are not applicable. For any data held by Google Analytics or AdSense, you can manage your preferences through Google's account settings or by opting out of personalised advertising.
Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. We honour this signal where technically feasible. Because our calculators already collect no personal data, enabling Do Not Track has no additional effect on calculator usage.
